| Successful hunters that fill
their tag now have a unique opportunity to return to their
heritage as food providers and give back to their community
to help the less fortunate.
Donations of wild game meat from
individuals from 2001 through 2008 exceeded 32,900 pounds,
providing over 144,500 quarter pound servings or meals. In
2008 our program brought in 3,208 pounds of wild game meat
(Venison, Elk, Buffalo) totaling 12,832 quarter pound
servings.

We'd like to thank all the
participating hunters in your continued support of this
great program. |

Your
monetary donations
are need to cover the cost of
processing, packaging, freezing, distribution and transportation of
the meat. The meat is then available at no cost to needy clients through our
emergency food box
program. With your generous support, we can stop
hunger in its tracks.
