Postal Carrier Food Drive
"Stamp Out Hunger"
 

Thanks to everyone who participated this past year!  We had a total of 38,000 pounds of food collected in one day. We also had an outstanding volunteer group helping unload all that food.
The National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, will be collecting non-perishable food items like canned meats and fish, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice on Saturday, May 8th, to help families in need in our community.
 
Postal Carriers throughout Northern Arizona will be collecting food!You can help by placing your food donation at your mailbox on May 8th before your letter carrier arrives. It will be taken to the Post Office and then delivered to Northern Arizona Food Bank and St. Mary's Food Bank in Flagstaff. Please do not include items that have expired or those in glass containers.

Volunteers are also needed to help with this event both during the event and the following week after the Annual Letter Carriers Food Drive. This all-day event is the nation’s largest one-day food drive.
